CVE-2021-23239 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 4 more 2024-11-21 2.5 Low
The sudoedit personality of Sudo before 1.9.5 may allow a local unprivileged user to perform arbitrary directory-existence tests by winning a sudo_edit.c race condition in replacing a user-controlled directory by a symlink to an arbitrary path.
CVE-2021-23222 2 Postgresql, Redhat 3 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Software Collections 2024-11-21 5.9 Medium
A man-in-the-middle attacker can inject false responses to the client's first few queries, despite the use of SSL certificate verification and encryption.
CVE-2021-23214 3 Fedoraproject, Postgresql, Redhat 7 Fedora, Postgresql, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2024-11-21 8.1 High
When the server is configured to use trust authentication with a clientcert requirement or to use cert authentication, a man-in-the-middle attacker can inject arbitrary SQL queries when a connection is first established, despite the use of SSL certificate verification and encryption.
CVE-2021-23192 2 Redhat, Samba 4 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus, Storage and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the way samba implemented DCE/RPC. If a client to a Samba server sent a very large DCE/RPC request, and chose to fragment it, an attacker could replace later fragments with their own data, bypassing the signature requirements.
CVE-2021-23177 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libarchive and 1 more 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libarchive and 10 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
An improper link resolution flaw while extracting an archive can lead to changing the access control list (ACL) of the target of the link. An attacker may provide a malicious archive to a victim user, who would trigger this flaw when trying to extract the archive. A local attacker may use this flaw to change the ACL of a file on the system and gain more privileges.
CVE-2021-23133 6 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 25 Brocade Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 22 more 2024-11-21 6.7 Medium
A race condition in Linux kernel SCTP sockets (net/sctp/socket.c) before 5.12-rc8 can lead to kernel privilege escalation from the context of a network service or an unprivileged process. If sctp_destroy_sock is called without sock_net(sk)->sctp.addr_wq_lock then an element is removed from the auto_asconf_splist list without any proper locking. This can be exploited by an attacker with network service privileges to escalate to root or from the context of an unprivileged user directly if a BPF_CGROUP_INET_SOCK_CREATE is attached which denies creation of some SCTP socket.
CVE-2021-23017 6 F5, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more 19 Nginx, Fedora, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 16 more 2024-11-21 7.7 High
A security issue in nginx resolver was identified, which might allow an attacker who is able to forge UDP packets from the DNS server to cause 1-byte memory overwrite, resulting in worker process crash or potential other impact.
CVE-2021-22963 2 Fastify, Redhat 2 Fastify-static, Acm 2024-11-21 6.1 Medium
A redirect vulnerability in the fastify-static module version < 4.2.4 allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary websites via a double slash // followed by a domain: http://localhost:3000//google.com/%2e%2e.The issue shows up on all the fastify-static applications that set redirect: true option. By default, it is false.
CVE-2021-22904 2 Redhat, Rubyonrails 2 Satellite, Rails 2024-11-21 7.5 High
The actionpack ruby gem before 6.1.3.2, 6.0.3.7, 5.2.4.6, 5.2.6 suffers from a possible denial of service vulnerability in the Token Authentication logic in Action Controller due to a too permissive regular expression. Impacted code uses `authenticate_or_request_with_http_token` or `authenticate_with_http_token` for request authentication.
CVE-2021-22902 2 Redhat, Rubyonrails 2 Satellite, Rails 2024-11-21 7.5 High
The actionpack ruby gem (a framework for handling and responding to web requests in Rails) before 6.0.3.7, 6.1.3.2 suffers from a possible denial of service vulnerability in the Mime type parser of Action Dispatch. Carefully crafted Accept headers can cause the mime type parser in Action Dispatch to do catastrophic backtracking in the regular expression engine.
CVE-2021-22885 3 Debian, Redhat, Rubyonrails 4 Debian Linux, Satellite, Actionpack Page-caching and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High

CVE-2021-22543 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 29 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 26 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
An issue was discovered in Linux: KVM through Improper handling of VM_IO|VM_PFNMAP vmas in KVM can bypass RO checks and can lead to pages being freed while still accessible by the VMM and guest. This allows users with the ability to start and control a VM to read/write random pages of memory and can result in local privilege escalation.
CVE-2021-22137 2 Elastic, Redhat 3 Elasticsearch, Camel Quarkus, Integration 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
In Elasticsearch versions before 7.11.2 and 6.8.15 a document disclosure flaw was found when Document or Field Level Security is used. Search queries do not properly preserve security permissions when executing certain cross-cluster search queries. This could result in the search disclosing the existence of documents the attacker should not be able to view. This could result in an attacker gaining additional insight into potentially sensitive indices.
CVE-2021-22135 2 Elastic, Redhat 2 Elasticsearch, Camel Quarkus 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
Elasticsearch versions before 7.11.2 and 6.8.15 contain a document disclosure flaw was found in the Elasticsearch suggester and profile API when Document and Field Level Security are enabled. The suggester and profile API are normally disabled for an index when document level security is enabled on the index. Certain queries are able to enable the profiler and suggester which could lead to disclosing the existence of documents and fields the attacker should not be able to view.
CVE-2021-22133 2 Elastic, Redhat 2 Apm Agent, Openshift 2024-11-21 2.4 Low
The Elastic APM agent for Go versions before 1.11.0 can leak sensitive HTTP header information when logging the details during an application panic. Normally, the APM agent will sanitize sensitive HTTP header details before sending the information to the APM server. During an application panic it is possible the headers will not be sanitized before being sent.
