| CVE-2021-46910 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ARM: 9063/1: mm: reduce maximum number of CPUs if DEBUG_KMAP_LOCAL is enabled The debugging code for kmap_local() doubles the number of per-CPU fixmap slots allocated for kmap_local(), in order to use half of them as guard regions. This causes the fixmap region to grow downwards beyond the start of its reserved window if the supported number of CPUs is large, and collide with the newly added virtual DT mapping right below it, which is obviously not good. One manifestation of this is EFI boot on a kernel built with NR_CPUS=32 and CONFIG_DEBUG_KMAP_LOCAL=y, which may pass the FDT in highmem, resulting in block entries below the fixmap region that the fixmap code misidentifies as fixmap table entries, and subsequently tries to dereference using a phys-to-virt translation that is only valid for lowmem. This results in a cryptic splat such as the one below. ftrace: allocating 45548 entries in 89 pages 8<--- cut here --- Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address fc6006f0 pgd = (ptrval) [fc6006f0] *pgd=80000040207003, *pmd=00000000 Internal error: Oops: a06 [#1] SMP ARM Modules linked in: CPU: 0 PID: 0 Comm: swapper Not tainted 5.11.0+ #382 Hardware name: Generic DT based system PC is at cpu_ca15_set_pte_ext+0x24/0x30 LR is at __set_fixmap+0xe4/0x118 pc : [<c041ac9c>] lr : [<c04189d8>] psr: 400000d3 sp : c1601ed8 ip : 00400000 fp : 00800000 r10: 0000071f r9 : 00421000 r8 : 00c00000 r7 : 00c00000 r6 : 0000071f r5 : ffade000 r4 : 4040171f r3 : 00c00000 r2 : 4040171f r1 : c041ac78 r0 : fc6006f0 Flags: nZcv IRQs off FIQs off Mode SVC_32 ISA ARM Segment none Control: 30c5387d Table: 40203000 DAC: 00000001 Process swapper (pid: 0, stack limit = 0x(ptrval)) So let's limit CONFIG_NR_CPUS to 16 when CONFIG_DEBUG_KMAP_LOCAL=y. Also, fix the BUILD_BUG_ON() check that was supposed to catch this, by checking whether the region grows below the start address rather than above the end address. | ||||
| CVE-2021-46908 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Use correct permission flag for mixed signed bounds arithmetic We forbid adding unknown scalars with mixed signed bounds due to the spectre v1 masking mitigation. Hence this also needs bypass_spec_v1 flag instead of allow_ptr_leaks. | ||||
| CVE-2020-36787 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: aspeed: fix clock handling logic Video engine uses eclk and vclk for its clock sources and its reset control is coupled with eclk so the current clock enabling sequence works like below. Enable eclk De-assert Video Engine reset 10ms delay Enable vclk It introduces improper reset on the Video Engine hardware and eventually the hardware generates unexpected DMA memory transfers that can corrupt memory region in random and sporadic patterns. This issue is observed very rarely on some specific AST2500 SoCs but it causes a critical kernel panic with making a various shape of signature so it's extremely hard to debug. Moreover, the issue is observed even when the video engine is not actively used because udevd turns on the video engine hardware for a short time to make a query in every boot. To fix this issue, this commit changes the clock handling logic to make the reset de-assertion triggered after enabling both eclk and vclk. Also, it adds clk_unprepare call for a case when probe fails. clk: ast2600: fix reset settings for eclk and vclk Video engine reset setting should be coupled with eclk to match it with the setting for previous Aspeed SoCs which is defined in clk-aspeed.c since all Aspeed SoCs are sharing a single video engine driver. Also, reset bit 6 is defined as 'Video Engine' reset in datasheet so it should be de-asserted when eclk is enabled. This commit fixes the setting. | ||||

| CVE-2023-6507 | 1 Python | 2 Cpython, Python | 2026-07-31 | 6.1 Medium |
| An issue was found in CPython 3.12.0 `subprocess` module on POSIX platforms. The issue was fixed in CPython 3.12.1 and does not affect other stable releases. When using the `extra_groups=` parameter with an empty list as a value (ie `extra_groups=[]`) the logic regressed to not call `setgroups(0, NULL)` before calling `exec()`, thus not dropping the original processes' groups before starting the new process. There is no issue when the parameter isn't used or when any value is used besides an empty list. This issue only impacts CPython processes run with sufficient privilege to make the `setgroups` system call (typically `root`). | ||||

| CVE-2025-71302 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: fix for dma-fence safe access rules Commit 506aa8b02a8d6 ("dma-fence: Add safe access helpers and document the rules") details the dma-fence safe access rules. The most common culprit is that drm_sched_fence_get_timeline_name may race with group_free_queue. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71300 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Revert "arm64: zynqmp: Add an OP-TEE node to the device tree" This reverts commit 06d22ed6b6635b17551f386b50bb5aaff9b75fbe. OP-TEE logic in U-Boot automatically injects a reserved-memory node along with optee firmware node to kernel device tree. The injection logic is dependent on that there is no manually defined optee node. Having the node in zynqmp.dtsi effectively breaks OP-TEE's insertion of the reserved-memory node, causing memory access violations during runtime. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71292 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: nlink overflow in jfs_rename If nlink is maximal for a directory (-1) and inside that directory you perform a rename for some child directory (not moving from the parent), then the nlink of the first directory is first incremented and later decremented. Normally this is fine, but when nlink = -1 this causes a wrap around to 0, and then drop_nlink issues a warning. After applying the patch syzbot no longer issues any warnings. I also ran some basic fs tests to look for any regressions. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71289 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: handle attr_set_size() errors when truncating files If attr_set_size() fails while truncating down, the error is silently ignored and the inode may be left in an inconsistent state. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71158 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: mpsse: ensure worker is torn down When an IRQ worker is running, unplugging the device would cause a crash. The sealevel hardware this driver was written for was not hotpluggable, so I never realized it. This change uses a spinlock to protect a list of workers, which it tears down on disconnect. | ||||
| CVE-2025-39960 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | 7.3 High |

| CVE-2025-39957 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-30 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: increase scan_ies_len for S1G Currently the S1G capability element is not taken into account for the scan_ies_len, which leads to a buffer length validation failure in ieee80211_prep_hw_scan() and subsequent WARN in __ieee80211_start_scan(). This prevents hw scanning from functioning. To fix ensure we accommodate for the S1G capability length. | ||||
