| CVE-2026-16526 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-10-01 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw in the PCP linux_sockets module exposes an unsecured internal connection. An attacker with initial code execution can exploit this to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary commands as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16524 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-10-01 | 7.8 High |
| A command injection flaw in PCP's linux_sockets PMDA allows malicious shell metacharacters via the network.persocket.filter metric. This failed validation lets attackers execute arbitrary commands as the PMDA user when metrics refresh. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48710 | 3 Encode, Kludex, Redhat | 9 Starlette, Starlette, Ai Inference Server and 6 more | 2026-10-01 | 6.5 Medium |
| Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. Prior to version 1.0.1, the HTTP `Host` request header was not validated before being used to reconstruct `request.url`. Because the routing algorithm relies on the raw HTTP path while `request.url` is rebuilt from the `Host` header, a malformed header could make `request.url.path` differ from the path that was actually requested. Middleware and endpoints that apply security restrictions based on `request.url` (rather than the raw `scope` path) could therefore be bypassed. Users should upgrade to a version greater than or equal to version 1.0.1, which validates the `Host` header against the grammar of RFC 9112 §3.2 / RFC 3986 §3.2.2 when constructing `request.url` and falls back to `scope["server"]` for malformed values. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42965 | 1 Redhat | 3 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform, Openshift Router | 2026-10-01 | 7.7 High |
| A flaw was found in the OpenShift Router. A user with EndpointSlice write access can exploit this vulnerability by creating a Service backed by an FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) EndpointSlice that resolves to a cloud metadata endpoint. This allows the router to proxy requests to the cloud metadata endpoint, leading to the disclosure of instance credentials and other sensitive metadata. This bypasses previous security measures for validating IP addresses. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75886 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-01 | 7.2 High |
| A flaw was found in openshift/console. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit a misconfiguration in the CatalogdHandler, which lacks proper authentication, and the forwarding of the `openshift-session-token` cookie. This allows the attacker to send requests to the in-cluster catalogd service, leading to the disclosure of the internal operator-catalog index and providing a relay into the openshift-catalogd namespace. | ||||
| CVE-2026-1784 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-01 | 8.8 High |
| The Route OpenShift resource allows to define routes to make pods reachable at a subdomain through HAProxy. It was found that the checks performed on the spec.path YAML stanza in a Route document was insufficient and could allow a controlled injection of the HAProxy configuration. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15809 | 1 Redhat | 4 Confidential Compute Attestation, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-01 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in CRI-O. The fix for a previous vulnerability (CVE-2022-4318) was incorrect, allowing it to be bypassed. An attacker capable of setting environment variables on a container can inject a newline character into the HOME environment variable. This issue allows the addition of arbitrary lines into /etc/passwd by use of a specially crafted environment variable. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86330 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift Data Foundation | 2026-09-30 | 7.2 High |
| An OS command injection flaw was found in the set_hostname_internal function of NooBaa's cluster_internal_api. This component is responsible for managing the Multi-Cloud Object Gateway in OpenShift Data Foundation. The vulnerability occurs because the hostname parameter is passed directly to a shell command without proper sanitization. An authenticated attacker with administrative privileges can provide a specially crafted hostname containing shell metacharacters to execute arbitrary commands on the host system with the privileges of the NooBaa process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101295 | 1 Redhat | 2 Assisted Installer, Openshift | 2026-09-30 | 7.3 High |
| Path traversal / arbitrary file write in oc-mirror's operator catalog image extraction. When mirroring operator catalogs using either the legacy v1 path (--v1) or the OCI feature path (--use-oci-feature), oc-mirror extracts tar entries from catalog image layers without validating that file paths resolve within the intended destination directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62146 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2026-09-30 | 7.8 High |
| A trust-boundary flaw in CRI-O's sandbox state persistence allows attacker-influenced pod metadata to overwrite CRI-O's own reserved sandbox bookkeeping; once reloaded as trusted after a restart, a later container recreate in that sandbox can expose a host-side runtime-management resource inside the container, enabling container escape. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15154 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift Ai | 2026-09-30 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in `guardrails-detectors`, a component of Red Hat OpenShift AI. This vulnerability, known as Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS), allows a remote attacker to provide specially crafted regular expressions to the public detection API. This can cause catastrophic backtracking, leading to a worker process consuming 100% CPU indefinitely and resulting in a denial of service for the entire guardrails-mediated LLM pipeline. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18951 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift Ai, Openshift Ai 3.3 | 2026-09-30 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) overlay for the training operator. The RHOAI overlay incorrectly aggregates `trainjobs` management permissions into the native Kubernetes `edit ClusterRole`. This allows any user with `edit ClusterRole` permissions in a namespace to create, modify, and delete `TrainJobs`. When combined with a separate vulnerability (TRN-01) that permits arbitrary pod configurations, a remote attacker with namespace editor privileges could exploit this to escalate privileges, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16745 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Openshift Ai (rhoai), Openshift Ai | 2026-09-30 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in odh-dashboard, the web console component of Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI). Due to incorrect network binding, a malicious actor within the cluster can bypass authentication and impersonate any user by providing an arbitrary access token. This allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the Kubernetes API, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution, privilege escalation, or information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15378 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Openshift Ai (rhoai), Openshift Ai | 2026-09-30 | 9.3 Critical |
| A flaw was found in the `guardrails-detectors` component. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a blind Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) by submitting a specially crafted XML Schema Definition (XSD) string. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information, including credentials from cloud metadata services, Kubernetes API, internal MinIO, and other internal network endpoints. Additionally, it enables local file reads of critical data such as service account tokens and pod secrets. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66792 | 1 Redhat | 6 Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes, Multicluster Globalhub and 3 more | 2026-09-29 | 9.9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in the multicloud-operators-subscription component. This vulnerability allows a user on a managed cluster to escalate their privileges by creating a Subscription with specific, crafted annotations. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to deploy resources into any namespace with the elevated permissions of the controller's Service Account, potentially leading to unauthorized access and control over cluster resources. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18950 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Openshift Ai (rhoai), Openshift Ai | 2026-09-28 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in odh-dashboard. An authenticated user of the dashboard can exploit a vulnerability related to how RoleBindings are created. The system does not properly validate the `roleRef` field, allowing a user to specify an arbitrary role, including highly privileged ones like `cluster-admin`. This can lead to privilege escalation, where an attacker gains unauthorized elevated access within their namespace and potentially persistent control over the system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93834 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 8 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Nvidia 26 and 5 more | 2026-09-27 | 8.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in QEMU's 9pfs subsystem. A race condition between the main thread and a worker thread when processing concurrent Tlcreate and Twalk requests allows a malicious guest user to craft a fid path containing stale heap data, bypassing directory traversal restrictions and escaping the shared directory boundary. This can lead to arbitrary host file read/write and code execution (VM escape) as the QEMU process user. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88264 | 2 Containers, Redhat | 5 Crun, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-09-25 | 5.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in crun. When the container configuration does not give /dev a dedicated mount, terminal setup can redirect /dev/console onto an attacker-controlled path, including via the read-only-rootfs bind-mount fallback. Affected versions are crun 1.29.1 and earlier. Default configurations that mount a fresh /dev are not exposed. No fixed release is available yet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10805 | 1 Redhat | 14 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Expansion Pack and 11 more | 2026-09-25 | 6.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager. This local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in NetworkManager's dhclient backend when processing malformed Manufacturer Usage Description (MUD) URLs. A local user can exploit this flaw to escalate privileges by triggering a script via a crafted MUD URL, provided an administrator has explicitly configured NetworkManager to use dhclient. This issue does not affect default configurations of NetworkManager. | ||||
| CVE-2024-1753 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Eus | 2026-09-24 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in Buildah (and subsequently Podman Build) which allows containers to mount arbitrary locations on the host filesystem into build containers. A malicious Containerfile can use a dummy image with a symbolic link to the root filesystem as a mount source and cause the mount operation to mount the host root filesystem inside the RUN step. The commands inside the RUN step will then have read-write access to the host filesystem, allowing for full container escape at build time. | ||||
