CVSS v3.1 |
Use after free in Windows DHCP Client allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over an adjacent network.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP). A missing lock when clearing sk_user_data can lead to a race condition and NULL pointer dereference. A local user could use this flaw to potentially crash the system causing a denial of service.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Linux Kernel. Affected by this issue is the function tst_timer of the file drivers/atm/idt77252.c of the component IPsec. The manipulation leads to use after free. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. VDB-211934 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Linux Kernel. Affected by this vulnerability is the function l2cap_reassemble_sdu of the file net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c of the component Bluetooth. The manipulation leads to use after free. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-211087.
A vulnerability has been found in Linux Kernel and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function kcm_tx_work of the file net/kcm/kcmsock.c of the component kcm. The manipulation leads to race condition. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. VDB-211018 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
A race condition flaw was found in the Linux kernel sound subsystem due to improper locking. It could lead to a NULL pointer dereference while handling the SNDCTL_DSP_SYNC ioctl. A privileged local user (root or member of the audio group) could use this flaw to crash the system, resulting in a denial of service condition
A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem) when multiple calls to xfrm_probe_algs occurred simultaneously. This flaw could allow a local attacker to potentially trigger an out-of-bounds write or leak kernel heap memory by performing an out-of-bounds read and copying it into a socket.
A race condition was found in the Linux kernel's watch queue due to a missing lock in pipe_resize_ring(). The specific flaw exists within the handling of pipe buffers. The issue results from the lack of proper locking when performing operations on an object. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system or escalate their privileges on the system.
A race condition vulnerability exists in the request processing logic of the REST management interface on Brocade Fabric OS versions before 10.0.1. When handling concurrent incoming network management FCIP requests, a timing window exists between when a request populates the address variable and when the service constructs and returns the response context. As a result, the first request adopts the modified context, causing the service to return sensitive management details or configuration data belonging to the second context back to the original requester.
An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s TeleTYpe subsystem. The issue occurs in how a user triggers a race condition using ioctls TIOCSPTLCK and TIOCGPTPEER and TIOCSTI and TCXONC with leakage of memory in the flush_to_ldisc function. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system or read unauthorized random data from memory.
It was discovered that there was a ECDSA timing attack in the libgcrypt20 cryptographic library. Version affected: 1.8.4-5, 1.7.6-2+deb9u3, and 1.6.3-2+deb8u4. Versions fixed: 1.8.5-2 and 1.6.3-2+deb8u7.
Race condition, use-after-free in the Graphics: Text component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5.
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Clipboard User Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Credential Manager allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
Use after free in Windows Storage allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Microsoft Bluetooth Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
Use after free in Microsoft Local Security Authority Server (lsasrv) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
FrankenPHP is a modern application server for PHP. Prior to 1.12.5, FrankenPHP worker mode can retain PHP session state between requests when the session extension is loaded as a shared module and is unavailable through HAVE_PHP_SESSION at compile time. In this build configuration, frankenphp_reset_session_state() is compiled out, PS(id) can survive a request boundary, and a subsequent session_start() can ignore the new request's cookie because an identifier is already present. Under concurrent requests, session_id() can therefore return another client's identifier or a stale identifier from a previous request on the same worker thread, causing cross-user session exposure, possible session hijacking, and intermittent logout behavior. Builds with the session extension statically linked, including the official static binaries and Docker images, are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.12.5.
Race condition in the Networking: DNS component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158 and Thunderbird 158.
A weakness has been identified in meetecho janus-gateway up to 1.4.2. This affects an unknown part of the file src/plugins/janus_videoroom.c of the component VideoRoom. This manipulation causes race condition. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The attack's complexity is rated as high. It is indicated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Patch name: 27c0d1af888153e818675b56a4e6267f62d57097. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue. The vendor was contacted early, responded in a very professional manner and quickly released a fixed version of the affected product.
