| A vulnerability in the Virtual Keyboard Video Monitor (vKVM) connection handling of Cisco Integrated Management Controller (IMC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with low privileges to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface of an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious code into a specific data field in the interface. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid user credentials with privileges that allow for vKVM access on the affected device.
Note: The affected vKVM client is also included in Cisco UCS Manager. |
PrivateBin is an online pastebin where the server has zero knowledge of pasted data. Versions 1.7.7 through 2.0.1 allow persistent HTML injection via the unsanitized attachment filename (attachment_name) when attachments are enabled. An attacker can modify attachment_name before encryption so that, after decryption, arbitrary HTML is inserted unescaped into the page near the file size hint, enabling redirect (e.g., meta refresh) and site defacement and related phishing attacks. Script execution is normally blocked by the recommended Content Security Policy, limiting confidentiality impact. The issue was introduced in 1.7.7 and fixed in 2.0.2. Update to 2.0.2 or later. Workarounds include enforcing the recommended CSP, deploying PrivateBin on a separate domain, or disabling attachments.
Improper Neutralization of Script-Related HTML Tags in a Web Page (Basic XSS) vulnerability in RealMag777 TableOn posts-table-filterable allows Code Injection. This issue affects TableOn: from n/a through <= 1.0.5.1.
Improper Neutralization of Script-Related HTML Tags in a Web Page (Basic XSS) vulnerability in colabrio Norebro Extra norebro-extra allows Code Injection. This issue affects Norebro Extra: from n/a through <= 1.6.8.
The Broken Link Checker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg in /app/admin-notices/features/class-view.php without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Anubis is a Web AI Firewall Utility that weighs the soul of users' connections using one or more challenges in order to protect upstream resources from scraper bots. In versions 1.21.2 and below, attackers can craft malicious pass-challenge pages that cause a user to execute arbitrary JavaScript code or trigger other nonstandard schemes. An incomplete version of this fix was tagged at 1.21.2 and then the release process was aborted upon final testing. To work around this issue: block any requests to the /.within.website/x/cmd/anubis/api/pass-challenge route with the ?redir= parameter set to anything that doesn't start with the URL scheme http, https, or no scheme (local path redirect). This was fixed in version 1.21.3.
A vulnerability was found in Genexis Tilgin Home Gateway 322_AS0500-03_05_13_05. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is an unknown function of the file /vood/cgi-bin/vood_view.cgi?act=index&lang=EN# of the component Login. The manipulation of the argument errmsg leads to basic cross site scripting. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. VDB-268854 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Lucee before 5.4.7.3 LTS and 6 before 6.1.1.118, when an attacker can place files on the server, is vulnerable to a protection mechanism failure that can let an attacker run code that would be expected to be blocked and access resources that would be expected to be protected.
A Improper Neutralization of Script-Related HTML Tags in a Web Page (Basic XSS) vulnerability allows attackers to run arbitrary javascript via a reflected XSS issue in the search fields. This issue affects Container suse/manager/5.0/x86_64/server:latest: from ? before 5.0.28-150600.3.36.8; SUSE Manager Server LTS 4.3: from ? before 4.3.88-150400.3.113.5.
A Reliance on Untrusted Inputs in a Security Decision vulnerability in the logrotate configuration for openSUSE mailman3 package allows the mailman user to sent SIGHUP to arbitrary processes. This issue affects openSUSE Tumbleweed: from ? before 3.3.10-2.1.
Osmedeus is a Workflow Engine for Offensive Security. Cross-site Scripting (XSS) occurs on the Osmedues web server when viewing results from the workflow, allowing commands to be executed on the server. When using a workflow that contains the summary module, it generates reports in HTML and Markdown formats. The default report is based on the `general-template.md` template. The contents of the files are read and used to generate the report. However, the file contents are not properly filtered, leading to XSS. This may lead to commands executed on the host as well. This issue is not yet resolved. Users are advised to add their own filtering or to reach out to the developer to aid in developing a patch.
IncidentReporting is a MediaWiki extension for moving incident reports from wikitext to database tables. There are a variety of Cross-site Scripting issues, though all of them require elevated permissions. Some are available to anyone who has the `editincidents` right, some are available to those who can edit interface messages (typically administrators and interface admins), and one is available to those who can edit LocalSettings.php. These issues have been addressed in commit `43896a4` and all users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should prevent access to the Special:IncidentReports page.
ImportDump is an extension for mediawiki designed to automate user import requests. Anyone who can edit the interface strings of a wiki (typically administrators and interface admins) can embed XSS payloads in the messages for dates, and thus XSS anyone who views Special:RequestImportQueue. This issue has been patched in commit `d054b95` and all users are advised to apply this commit to their branch. Users unable to upgrade may either Prevent access to Special:RequestImportQueue on all wikis, except for the global wiki; and If an interface administrator (or equivalent) level protection is available (which is not provided by default) on the global wiki, protect the affected messages up to that level. This causes the XSS to be virtually useless as users with those rights can already edit Javascript pages. Or Prevent access to Special:RequestImportQueue altogether.
HTML injection vulnerability in the registration interface in Evolution Consulting Kft. HRmaster module v235 allows an attacker to inject HTML tags into the "keresztnév" (firstname) field, which will be sent out in an email resulting in possible Phishing scenarios against any, previously not registered, email address.
oqs-provider is a provider for the OpenSSL 3 cryptography library that adds support for post-quantum cryptography in TLS, X.509, and S/MIME using post-quantum algorithms from liboqs. Flaws have been identified in the way oqs-provider handles lengths decoded with DECODE_UINT32 at the start of serialized hybrid (traditional + post-quantum) keys and signatures. Unchecked length values are later used for memory reads and writes; malformed input can lead to crashes or information leakage. Handling of plain/non-hybrid PQ key operation is not affected. This issue has been patched in in v0.6.1. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no workarounds for this issue.
Pinecone is an experimental overlay routing protocol suite which is the foundation of the current P2P Matrix demos. The Pinecone Simulator (pineconesim) included in Pinecone up to commit ea4c337 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting. The payload storage is not permanent and will be wiped when restarting pineconesim.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Eastnets PaymentSafe 2.5.26.0. This affects an unknown part of the file /directRouter.rfc of the component Edit Manual Reply Handler. The manipulation of the argument Title leads to basic cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 2.5.27.0 is able to address this issue.
CKEditor 5 is a modern JavaScript rich-text editor with an MVC architecture. During a recent internal audit, a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the CKEditor 5 real-time collaboration package. This vulnerability affects user markers, which represent users' positions within the document. It can lead to unauthorized JavaScript code execution, which might happen with a very specific editor and token endpoint configuration. This vulnerability affects only installations with Real-time collaborative editing enabled. The problem has been recognized and patched. The fix is available in version 44.2.1 (and above). Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
