| The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's `givewp_campaign_grid` shortcode in versions up to, and including, 4.17.0 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied shortcode attributes (`filter_by`, `layout`, `sort_by`, `order_by`) in the CampaignGridShortcode::parseAttributes() function combined with the render template emitting `json_encode($attributes)` inside a single-quoted HTML attribute without esc_attr() — json_encode() does not escape single quotes by default, so a `'` in an attribute value breaks out of the enclosing attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The Tutor LMS WordPress plugin before 4.1.1 does not verify that the posts named in its course content ordering requests belong to a course the requester manages, allowing users with instructor level access to reassign the parent of any post on the site, taking other instructors' course content into their own courses and making arbitrary published content unreachable. |
| The SMS Alert WordPress plugin before 4.0.1 does not bind the account whose password is being changed to the phone number that was actually verified during its OTP password reset, allowing unauthenticated attackers to set a new password on an arbitrary account, including an administrator, by verifying a one-time code sent to a phone number they control. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv4: stop exception dump when nexthop group shrinks
Commit 4ce5dc9316de ("inet: switch inet_dump_fib() to RCU
protection") allowed IPv4 FIB dumps to run concurrently with nexthop
replacement.
fib_dump_info_fnhe() uses fib_info_num_path() as the loop bound,
then fib_info_nhc() independently reloads nh->nh_grp. If
RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replaces a group with fewer paths between those loads,
fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and the dump dereferences it through
nhc_flags.
Stop the walk when the indexed path is absent. Nexthop groups are
dense, so the current snapshot has no later path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rust_binder: reschedule node refcount update on thread exit
When a thread exits via BINDER_THREAD_EXIT, its pending work items are
cancelled. If a thread exits while holding a pending node refcount
increment (e.g. pushed as deferred work to that thread), the refcount
increment was previously dropped because Node::cancel() and
NodeWrapper::cancel() were no-ops.
Dropping the refcount update leaves the node's delivery state and count
state desynchronized, and userspace will not receive the notification,
which can cause the node to never be freed from the process's nodes tree
when all external references are dropped.
Fix this by implementing DeliverToRead::cancel() for Node and NodeWrapper
to move the pending refcount update to the process's work queue on thread
exit so another thread can deliver it to userspace. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/mlx5e: Prevent stale XSK buffer release on refill retry
When an XDP redirect to an AF_XDP socket fails because its RX ring is
full, the XSK core frees the buffer. During the subsequent batched refill
of a legacy cyclic RQ, mlx5e also releases the WQE's XSK buffer before
allocating a replacement. If that refill succeeds only partially, a WQE
left without a replacement retains its old buffer pointer.
The buffer can meanwhile be allocated to another WQE. A later refill
retry can then free the live buffer through the stale pointer and publish
the same UMEM frame twice.
Mark the WQE as released immediately after the driver-side free. The flag
is already cleared when a replacement buffer is assigned, so refill
retries no longer release stale pointers.
The failure is silent and produces no kernel warning or splat. A
standalone legacy cyclic-RQ zero-copy libxsk reproducer, using 64-byte UDP
traffic offered at 12 Mpps, detected it: stock stopped after 2,854,914
packets in 4.094 seconds, with 4,542 xdp_rx_ring_full events and 64
ownership/double-publication errors. With this change it processed
356,904,225 packets in 30 seconds despite 571,405 xdp_rx_ring_full events,
with no ownership or data errors. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs: Free any excess xarray nodes in clear_inode()
For many years we've had a hard to hit leak of xarray nodes. Hugh
documented it well in commit 786b31121a2c. Recently people and
syzbot have found ways to force it to happen with madvise. Rather
than fix the leaks where they happen, just call xa_destroy() which
has the side-effect of cycling the i_pages lock. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bnxt_en: fix DMA mapping length for padded small packets
Stefan Fleischmann reported Intel IOMMU DMA Read faults on BCM57412
NetXtreme-E NICs when transmitting packets on VLAN/macvlan interfaces:
DMAR: [DMA Read NO_PASID] Request device [18:00.0] fault addr 0xfc499000
[fault reason 0x06] PTE Read access is not set
bnxt_en 0000:18:00.0 eno1np0: Abandoning msg {0xb4 0x41a} len: 0 due to firmware status: 0x2000001
...
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eno1np0 (bnxt_en): transmit queue 0 timed out
The fault address (0xfc499000) is on an exact 4KB page boundary,
pointing to a DMA read buffer overrun.
In bnxt_start_xmit(), packets smaller than BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE (52 bytes),
such as 42-byte untagged ARP frames, are padded:
if (length < BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE) {
pad = BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE - length;
if (skb_pad(skb, pad))
goto tx_kick_pending;
length = BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE;
}
mapping = dma_map_single(&pdev->dev, skb->data, len, DMA_TO_DEVICE);
...
dma_unmap_len_set(tx_buf, len, len);
However, 'len' was initialized earlier to skb_headlen(skb) (e.g. 42 bytes)
and is left unadjusted after padding. Consequently, dma_map_single() and
dma_unmap_len_set() map and track only 42 bytes.
Later, the hardware TX buffer descriptor is programmed with the padded length:
txbd->tx_bd_len_flags_type =
cpu_to_le32(((len + pad) << TX_BD_LEN_SHIFT) | flags |
TX_BD_FLAGS_PACKET_END);
The NIC DMA engine is thus instructed to read 52 bytes from a region where
only 42 bytes were DMA-mapped. If skb->data ends near the boundary of a 4KB
page (within 'pad' bytes of the next page), the hardware DMA read overruns
into the unmapped adjacent page, triggering an IOMMU fault.
This issue was exposed after commit 447cbe95ebb9 ("vlan: fix skb_under_panic
and races when toggling HW VLAN offload") because reserving extra VLAN
headroom rounded LL_RESERVED_SPACE from 48 up to 64 bytes, shifting skb->data
offsets and potentially causing small frames to land right against page
boundaries.
Fix this by using skb_put_padto(skb, BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE) in
bnxt_start_xmit(), before skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags is sampled,
because padding might linearize the skb.
This ensures skb->len and skb_headlen(skb) reflect the padded size so
that dma_map_single() maps the full buffer and the descriptor length is
consistent. This also removes the temporary 'pad' variable and masking logic.
The padding is done after the SW USO branch, otherwise
bnxt_sw_udp_gso_xmit() would account the padding as UDP payload
and send it in extra segments.
Note that SW USO segments are still not padded: with IPv4, a segment
carrying less than 10 bytes of UDP payload (small gso_size, or a short
last segment) is sent as a frame shorter than BNXT_MIN_PKT_SIZE.
This is a separate issue, left for a followup patch. |
| A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Classic Web Client of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an attacker to inject JavaScript through the packages parameter of the /h/rest document editor. The editor inserts package names into script attributes without HTML encoding. When combined with CVE-2026-50053, an attacker with an ordinary Zimbra account can supply their own authentication token and document identifiers in a URL and execute JavaScript in another signed-in user's Zimbra browser session when that user opens the URL. This permits reading mailbox data and performing authenticated actions as the victim. The issue affects ZCS 10.1.16 and was remediated in 10.1.17. |
| Craft CMS allows any authenticated control panel user to submit an element-search condition whose element selector is evaluated as a sandboxed Twig object template. Craft’s allowed column filter delegates property lookup to Yii ArrayHelper, outside Twig’s SecurityPolicy. Repeated single-segment lookups therefore bypass the sandbox’s empty property/method allowlists.
The vulnerable condition value is ultimately cast to an integer. That does not protect the secret: the template can return author ID 1 when a guessed key character is correct and an impossible ID otherwise. The JSON endpoint returns entries for the first case and an empty array for the second, forming a stable remote character oracle.
After recovering GeneralConfig::securityKey, the same user can compute Craft’s generic HMAC wire format offline. Signed parameters such as redirect are then accepted and passed to unsandboxed View::renderObjectTemplate(), where Twig’s string-callable form can invoke native PHP callables. The regression proof uses the harmless substr() callback and observes abcdef becoming cdef; it does not execute an OS command. |
| Open WebUI from 0.9.0 before 0.11.4 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated users with automations permission to stall the instance by submitting unsatisfiable recurrence rules. Attackers can repeatedly send rules like February 30th to the automations create or update endpoints, blocking the shared event loop for seconds per request. |
| Open WebUI 0.11.0 before 0.11.4 compiles user-chosen grep patterns for its knowledge and chat file search tools with a regex engine that expands nested counted repetition unbounded at compile time and caches the result. Authenticated users can have the model call grep_knowledge_files with short nested-repetition patterns, blocking the event loop and exhausting worker memory. |
| Open WebUI 0.11.0 before 0.11.4 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the automation recurrence-rule validator, whose sub-daily frequency guard parses rule text more strictly than the calendar library that executes it. Users permitted to create automations can submit whitespace-folded rules (or, in 0.11.0, lowercase frequencies or omitted RRULE prefixes) that expand per-second synchronously, blocking the shared event loop for minutes per request and on every scheduler poll. |
| Open WebUI before 0.11.4 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated users to reach disabled model provider backends by supplying an explicit backend index. Attackers can pass the index as a path segment or query parameter on Ollama and OpenAI-compatible listing routes to trigger requests carrying configured API keys, read version strings, and enumerate connections. |
| Open WebUI from 0.11.0 before 0.11.4 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated users to stall server workers via file search patterns. Attackers can instruct the model to call grep_knowledge_files or grep_chat_files with a catastrophically backtracking regex, blocking the event loop for two seconds per repeated call. |
| Open WebUI from 0.6.42 before 0.11.4 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability that allows authenticated users to exhaust server memory by supplying compressed remote image URLs in chat messages. Attackers can point the image field at a host returning gzip-encoded responses, which get_image_base64_from_url decompresses unbounded, causing denial of service for all users. |
| Open WebUI from 0.11.1 before 0.11.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in DocxPreview.svelte that allows authenticated users to execute script by uploading crafted DOCX attachments. Attackers can embed an OOXML altChunk HTML part or script-scheme hyperlink to steal a previewing administrator's session token from local storage and take over the instance. |
