| CVE-2026-89096 | 2 Nfs, Redhat | 4 Nfs-utils, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-21 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in nfs-utils. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending repeated state notification requests to an exposed rpc.statd service. The service fails to properly release memory allocated during callback processing, leading to continuous memory growth. Sustained requests can exhaust system resources, eventually causing the service to degrade or crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89098 | 2 Nfs, Redhat | 4 Nfs-utils, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-19 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in nfs-utils. The fsidd daemon improperly handles input received over its local domain socket by relying on program assertions to verify command arguments. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed request lacking the required arguments to trigger an assertion failure. This causes the daemon to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for filesystem identifier lookup services until restarted. | ||||
| CVE-2008-4552 | 2 Nfs, Redhat | 2 Nfs-utils, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| The good_client function in nfs-utils 1.0.9, and possibly other versions before 1.1.3, invokes the hosts_ctl function with the wrong order of arguments, which causes TCP Wrappers to ignore netgroups and allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions. | ||||
| CVE-2009-0180 | 2 Nfs, Redhat | 2 Nfs-utils, Fedora | 2026-04-23 | N/A |
| Certain Fedora build scripts for nfs-utils before 1.1.2-9.fc9 on Fedora 9, and before 1.1.4-6.fc10 on Fedora 10, omit TCP Wrapper support, which might allow remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions, possibly a related issue to CVE-2008-1376. | ||||
| CVE-2004-0946 | 2 Nfs, Redhat | 3 Nfs-utils, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| rquotad in nfs-utils (rquota_server.c) before 1.0.6-r6 on 64-bit architectures does not properly perform an integer conversion, which leads to a stack-based buffer overflow and allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted NFS request. | ||||
| CVE-2004-1014 | 4 Debian, Mandrakesoft, Nfs and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Mandrake Linux, Mandrake Linux Corporate Server and 3 more | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| statd in nfs-utils 1.257 and earlier does not ignore the SIGPIPE signal, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (server process crash) via a TCP connection that is prematurely terminated. | ||||
| CVE-2004-0154 | 2 Nfs, Redhat | 2 Nfs-utils, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| rpc.mountd in nfs-utils after 1.0.3 and before 1.0.6 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via an NFS mount of a directory from a client whose reverse DNS lookup name is different from the forward lookup name. | ||||
