CVE-2026-114472 1 Progressive Robot 1 Hmailserver 2026-10-22 3.7 Low
Insufficient resource pool in the ACME HTTP-01 challenge responder of Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a certificate issuance or renewal to fail. When the server obtains or renews a TLS certificate over ACME it runs an HTTP-01 challenge responder on port 80 for the certificate authority to read the challenge token; the responder served one connection at a time, accepting a socket, waiting up to five seconds to receive a request, answering it, and only then accepting the next. A client that connected and sent nothing held the single worker for the whole timeout, so enough idle connections during a validation keep the certificate authority's own request from being answered in time and the validation fails. Sustained across a certificate's renewals this leads to the certificate expiring, after which clients refuse the server's TLS; the mail service itself continues on its current certificate until then. No authentication is required to connect to the responder. Version 6.3.7 serves up to 64 connections at once and closes a connection past that, so that where a handful of idle connections, one after another, sufficed before, a client must keep 64 idle connections open at once throughout a validation to have the certificate authority's connection closed.
CVE-2026-93100 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/resctrl: Prevent use-after-free in rdtgroup_kn_put() A struct rdtgroup is reference counted via rdtgroup::waitcount. Callers that need the structure to remain valid across a sleep (while waiting on acquiring rdtgroup_mutex) take a reference with rdtgroup_kn_get() and release it with rdtgroup_kn_put(). The release path is intended to serve as the fallback freer: if the count drops to zero and the group has already been marked RDT_DELETED, rdtgroup_kn_put() frees the structure. The bulk teardown paths free_all_child_rdtgrp() and rmdir_all_sub() resulting from a resctrl directory remove or resctrl fs unmount act as the primary freer: they hold rdtgroup_mutex and free each rdtgroup whose waitcount is zero, otherwise they set RDT_DELETED and leave the freeing to the last waiter. These two freers race. rdtgroup_kn_put() commits waitcount == 0 with atomic_dec_and_test() outside rdtgroup_mutex, then reads rdtgroup::flags. Between those two operations a concurrent caller of free_all_child_rdtgrp() or rmdir_all_sub() (which holds the mutex) can observe waitcount == 0 via atomic_read(), call rdtgroup_remove(), and kfree() the structure. The subsequent read of rdtgroup::flags in rdtgroup_kn_put() is then a use-after-free, and the structure may even be freed twice if the freed memory happens to satisfy the RDT_DELETED flag check. Replace the bare atomic_dec_and_test() with atomic_dec_and_mutex_lock() so that the decrement-to-zero takes rdtgroup_mutex before the count becomes globally visible. The inspection of rdtgroup::flags then runs under the same mutex held by the bulk freers, making the two paths mutually exclusive. The common case where the count does not reach zero remains lock-free. Defer kernfs_unbreak_active_protection() until after the mutex is dropped since kernfs active protections functionally wrap rdtgroup_mutex. Remove resource group, which in turn drops its kernfs reference, after kernfs protection is restored. [ bp: Split the commit messsages into smaller, easier-parseable paragraphs. ]
CVE-2026-98543 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: fs/xattr: don't assume the inode is locked in path_unlink/path_rmdir bpf_lsm_has_d_inode_locked() makes the verifier rewrite bpf_[set|remove]_dentry_xattr() to the _locked variants, which assume that the caller already holds the inode's i_rwsem. The path_unlink and path_rmdir hooks are listed, but security_path_unlink() and security_path_rmdir() run before vfs_unlink()/vfs_rmdir() take the victim inode's i_rwsem, so a sleepable BPF LSM program attached to either hook mutates the victim's xattrs without the lock held. Drop the two path hooks from d_inode_locked_hooks so that the verifier keeps the locking bpf_[set|remove]_dentry_xattr() variants, which take the lock themselves.
CVE-2026-90091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-20 8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix race l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen() vs. put_chan For L2CAP sockets without owning sk->sk_socket, reading l2cap_pi(sk)->chan may race against concurrent l2cap_sock_kill() -> l2cap_sock_put_chan(). This excludes simultaneous proto_ops callbacks, but access in l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen() has unsafe lockless read. [Task 1] [Task 2 (hdev->workqueue)] l2cap_sock_release(parent) l2cap_disconn_cfm l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen l2cap_conn_del bt_accept_dequeue l2cap_chan_del lock_sock(sk) l2cap_sock_teardown_cb bt_accept_unlink bt_sk(sk)->parent = NULL release_sock(sk) ----------------> lock_sock(sk) parent = /* NULL */ lock_sock(sk) <--------------------- release_sock(sk) sock_set_flag(sk, SOCK_ZAPPED) l2cap_sock_close_cb l2cap_sock_kill(sk) l2cap_sock_put_chan chan = READ l2cap_pi(sk)->chan l2cap_pi(sk)->chan = NULL l2cap_chan_hold_unless_zero l2cap_put_chan(chan) kref_get_unless_zero(&chan->ref) Task 1 may observe NULL which causes null-ptr-deref. Fix the race by taking lock_sock() in l2cap_sock_kill() to synchronize with l2cap_sock_cleanup_listen(). hold_unless_zero() is not needed here, l2cap_pi(sk)->chan owns reference if it is non-NULL. Clarify code comments vs. locking.
CVE-2026-90209 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-20 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/debug: Fix deadlock during unregister Unregistering an s390dbf debug area while one of the associated debugfs files is being written to can cause a deadlock: $ echo >.../vmur/level $ rmmod vmur =================================================== debugfs write debugfs_file_get() debug_unregister() mutex_lock(debug_mutex) debugfs_remove() wait for debugfs_file_put() debug_file_ops.write() debug_input() mutex_lock(debug_mutex) ==> DEADLOCK Fix this by splitting debug_unregister() into an s390dbf and debugfs part, and running only the s390dbf part with debug_mutex locked.
CVE-2026-58218 2 Redhat, Samba 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more 2026-07-30 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in Samba's internal DNS server where unauthenticated TKEY registration requests were added to the TKEY name cache before being rejected. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this behavior by sending a large number of TKEY requests with arbitrary names, exhausting the cache and evicting legitimate TKEY entries. This can prevent legitimate TSIG authentication for signed DNS queries, resulting in a denial of service.

CVE-2023-38505 1 Dietpi-dashboard Project 1 Dietpi-dashboard 2024-11-21 7.5 High
DietPi-Dashboard is a web dashboard for the operating system DietPi. The dashboard only allows for one TLS handshake to be in process at a given moment. Once a TCP connection is established in HTTPS mode, it will assume that it should be waiting for a handshake, and will stay this way indefinitely until a handshake starts or some error occurs. In version 0.6.1, this can be exploited by simply not starting the handshake, preventing any other TLS handshakes from getting through. An attacker can lock the dashboard in a state where it is waiting for a TLS handshake from the attacker, who won't provide it. This prevents any legitimate traffic from getting to the dashboard, and can last indefinitely. Version 0.6.2 has a patch for this issue. As a workaround, do not use HTTPS mode on the open internet where anyone can connect. Instead, put a reverse proxy in front of the dashboard, and have it handle any HTTPS connections.
