CVE-2026-98885 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-23 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ima: return error early if file xattr cannot be changed During early boot, the filesystem is read-only and any changes to xattrs are not allowed. This fails in case of ext4 because changing xattr starts an ext4 transaction which fails with the following warning. WARNING: fs/ext4/ext4_jbd2.c:75 at ext4_journal_check_start+0x63/0xa0 [ext4], CPU#1: systemd-sysroot/561 CPU: 1 UID: 0 PID: 561 Comm: systemd-sysroot Not tainted 6.19.12-1-default #1 PREEMPT(voluntary) openSUSE Tumbleweed c2dfc3c9d9f6f1233251c5d4410574fe82a348ee Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS unknown 02/02/2022 RIP: 0010:ext4_journal_check_start+0x63/0xa0 [ext4] Call Trace: __ext4_journal_start_sb+0x3e/0x180 [ext4 6d025f3bc52c89a957b89a89d211fadf5e9434e1] ext4_xattr_set+0x104/0x150 [ext4 6d025f3bc52c89a957b89a89d211fadf5e9434e1] __vfs_setxattr+0x9a/0xd0 __vfs_setxattr_noperm+0x76/0x1f0 ima_appraise_measurement+0x23e/0xe40 ima_d_path+0x5a/0xd0 process_measurement+0xb29/0xc40 ? copy_from_kernel_nofault+0x21/0xe0 ? fscrypt_file_open+0xc0/0xe0 ? ext4_file_open+0x60/0x490 [ext4 6d025f3bc52c89a957b89a89d211fadf5e9434e1] ? bpf_prog_31efb7c56239148b_restrict_filesystems+0xab/0x126 ? __bpf_prog_exit+0x23/0xd0 ? __bpf_tramp_exit+0xd/0x50 ? bpf_trampoline_6442530367+0x9f/0xea ima_file_check+0x57/0x80 security_file_post_open+0x50/0xf0 path_openat+0x493/0x1650 do_filp_open+0xc7/0x170 Detect the state of the file early and return the error.
CVE-2026-98894 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-23 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/ras: reset CPER ring on corrupt entry size When CPER ring overflow handling advances the read pointer, it trusts the parsed entry size from the current ring contents. Corrupt CPER data can produce an entry size that does not advance rptr after dword conversion and pointer masking. In that case the recovery loop keeps testing the same location while holding the CPER ring mutex. This can hang the worker that is writing the next CPER record. Detect a no-progress rptr update and reset the CPER ring to an empty state instead. This drops the corrupt contents and lets the writer leave the recovery path without spinning.
CVE-2026-115567 2026-10-23 N/A
Tokio is a runtime for writing applications with Rust. In 1.54.0, a race condition between tokio::time::Interval::poll_tick (including .tick().await) and the multi-threaded runtime's time driver could drop an internal timer entry without synchronizing with the driver thread that was firing it. The race caused a use-after-free on the timer's waker and task state in safe Rust, which could produce assertion panics, task reference-count corruption, or heap memory corruption. This issue is fixed in 1.54.1.
CVE-2026-110975 2026-10-23 7.4 High
A flaw was found in Kruize Autotune. Its REST API ships without an authentication layer, and the endpoints that return datasource configuration — the list-datasources endpoint (GET /datasources) and the datasource-metadata endpoint — serialized datasource objects using a default Gson configuration with no field-exclusion strategy. As a result, the authentication secrets stored for each configured monitoring datasource (basic-auth passwords, bearer tokens, API keys, and OAuth2 client secrets) were returned in cleartext to any client able to reach the service. An attacker with network access to Autotune could harvest these credentials and reuse them to authenticate to the backing monitoring stack.
CVE-2026-12727 1 Ibm 3 Mq Advanced Container Images, Mq Operator, Supplied Mq Advanced Container Images 2026-10-23 4.3 Medium
IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause potential process instability due to an off-by-one buffer overflow when processing specially crafted object names.
CVE-2026-14511 1 Ibm 1 Mq 2026-10-23 6.5 Medium
IBM MQ 9.4.5.0 through 9.4.5.1 could allow an authenticated user to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted message that crashes consuming applications.
CVE-2026-112778 1 Traefik 1 Traefik 2026-10-23 8.8 High
Traefik before 2.11.46, 3.x before 3.6.17, and 3.7.0 lack namespace validation for Ingress and Service annotations in the Kubernetes Ingress provider, allowing references to Middlewares, ServersTransports, and TLSOptions in other namespaces. Attackers able to create or update Ingress or Service resources in one namespace can set router.middlewares or service.serverstransport annotations to obtain another tenant's injected credentials or reuse its client certificates, bypassing namespace-based tenant isolation.
CVE-2026-112390 2 Python, Python-pillow 2 Pillow, Pillow 2026-10-23 7.5 High
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 7.2.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can enter an infinite loop while determining the frame count of a MIC image. MicImageFile inherits TIFF frame traversal, but MicImageFile.tell reports the OLE stream index and its seek() resets TIFF frame state, so an embedded TIFF with at least three IFDs never advances. When an application with olefile installed reads n_frames or saves all frames from a crafted MIC file, the non-advancing traversal can hold a worker at full CPU indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
CVE-2026-112391 2 Python, Python-pillow 2 Pillow, Pillow 2026-10-23 7.5 High
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow's PdfParser.get_value() can recurse without a limit while reading nested PDF objects. The parser follows attacker-controlled arrays and dictionaries when an existing PDF is opened for append. An attacker can provide a deeply nested PDF to an application that saves an image with PDF append enabled. This can raise an uncaught RecursionError or terminate the worker, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
CVE-2026-98969 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-23 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: em_text: reject unterminated algo before autoload This is a follow-up to commit 9c572a83037a ("net/sched: fix potential stack infoleak in em_text_dump()"), which zero-initialised the dump-side struct. Sashiko pointed at a pre-existing bug that exposed the change-side input-validation gap open. em_text_change() casts the raw netlink attribute payload to struct tcf_em_text and passes conf->algo, a 16-byte array with no enforced NUL terminator, to textsearch_prepare(). On the TS_AUTOLOAD retry textsearch_prepare() calls request_module("ts_%s", algo); vsnprintf() walks %s until it finds a NUL, so an algo[] with no NUL reads past the array into the adjacent struct fields and payload and feeds those bytes to the usermode helper command line. This is an out-of-bounds read and a kernel memory disclosure. Reject the attribute when no NUL exists within TC_EM_TEXT_ALGOSIZ bytes, matching the check xt_string has had since 3ab720881b6e. Conditions to recreate the bug: - CAP_NET_ADMIN on the target netns (namespace-local via unshare -Urn is enough) - install clsact on an interface, then add a basic filter with one text ematch whose algo[] is 16 bytes with no NUL (e.g. "A"*16) and pattern_len at least 1 - the add fails with -ENOENT and the kernel invokes modprobe with a module name made of "ts_" plus the 16 bytes and the adjacent payload
CVE-2026-98971 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-23 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: exar: initialize the ID before registering its cleanup devm_add_action_or_reset() invokes the cleanup action immediately when registering the action fails. gpio_exar_probe() currently stores the allocated ID in exar_gpio only after registering the action, so that failure makes exar_devm_ida_free() release ID 0. If the allocated ID is nonzero, this leaks that ID and can free ID 0 belonging to another device. Store the ID before registering the cleanup action so both the immediate failure path and normal device teardown release the correct allocation.
