| CVE-2026-19617 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 3 more | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libdm. A local attacker could craft a malicious Logical Volume Manager (LVM) metadata configuration with deeply nested structures. This could lead to uncontrolled recursion in the libdm configuration file parser, exhausting the stack and causing any LVM command reading the metadata to crash. This vulnerability results in a Denial of Service (DoS) for affected systems. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19548 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 8 Binutils, Adminutil, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| Multiple Use-After-Free vulnerabilities were found in the add_archive_element function in ld/ldmain.c of the GNU linker (ld), a component of binutils. The root cause is that plugin_maybe_claim() in ld/plugin.c frees the original BFD object via bfd_close/_bfd_delete_bfd when entry->the_bfd->my_archive == NULL, but the caller retains both the original abfd parameter and a shallow copy (orig_input.the_bfd) as dangling pointers. These dangling pointers are subsequently dereferenced at three distinct locations in add_archive_element: 1. Line ~1442: accessing abfd->my_archive via bfd_usrdata(abfd->my_archive) 2. Line ~1493: multiple accesses to abfd and abfd->my_archive in a conditional check and bfd_get_filename call 3. Line ~1525: dereferencing the shallow copy orig_input.the_bfd->my_archive in trace/verbose logging The vulnerability is triggered when LTO plugins are active (link_info.lto_plugin_active is true) and the input object has abfd->my_archive == NULL, which is a valid state for standalone object files. Red Hat builds binutils with --enable-plugins and --enable-lto, confirming the vulnerable code path is compiled in and reachable. An attacker who can supply a crafted object or archive file to a build process using LTO-enabled linking could exploit this flaw to cause a denial of service (linker crash via segmentation fault). Arbitrary code execution is theoretically possible through heap manipulation but is substantially mitigated by hardening measures including stack protector, FORTIFY_SOURCE, ASLR, and PIE. The attack surface is limited to build-time environments — the linker is a development tool not exposed in production runtime. The most realistic exploitation scenario is a supply chain attack introducing a crafted object file as a build dependency in CI/CD pipelines or development environments. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19404 | 1 Redhat | 4 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux, Redhat Directory Server and 1 more | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The CleanAllRUV and Abort CleanAllRUV replication-maintenance extended operations perform no authorization check, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to invoke them when nsslapd-allow-anonymous-access is enabled (the default), or any authenticated low-privilege user to invoke them otherwise. This allows removal of a replica ID from replication metadata, purging of changelog records, and interruption of administrator-initiated cleanup, which can leave replication inconsistent or unavailable. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19391 | 1 Redhat | 5 Certification For Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Certifications, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in insights-core where the password redaction layer fails to recognize credentials not keyed under the literal string 'password'. This allows SSSD LDAP bind passwords (ldap_default_authtok) and Pacemaker fence device credentials to be included in cleartext in archives uploaded to console.redhat.com. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116785 | 2026-11-05 | 9.1 Critical | ||
| FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to 1.11.2, ws_read_frame() decoded a WebSocket frame's 64-bit extended payload length with a 32-bit byte swap and narrowed the result into a signed length. A value whose surviving low word became negative bypassed the signed size check and was reinterpreted as an enormous unsigned count, causing client bytes to overwrite memory beyond the 64 KiB receive buffer. Any client completing a /socket WebSocket upgrade on an enabled mod_xml_rpc endpoint reached the parser before HTTP authentication; both the module and WebSocket endpoint are disabled by default. The heap overwrite can corrupt connection pointers and crash FreeSWITCH, ending every concurrent session, although remote code execution has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19079 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 4 more | 2026-11-05 | 4.4 Medium |
| A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check-Time-of-Use) race condition vulnerability was found in the fixfiles script in policycoreutils. When running fixfiles relabel or fixfiles restore, the script used find and chcon commands to locate and relabel unlabeled files under /tmp and other directories. A local attacker could exploit a race window between the file discovery and the label change operation by swapping directory components with symlinks, causing chcon to follow the symlink and modify SELinux labels on arbitrary system files. This could undermine SELinux mandatory access control protections on critical files such as /etc/shadow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18728 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Open Iscsi | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi. An integer underflow vulnerability in the `iscsiuio` component, specifically during IPv4 Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) parsing, allows a remote attacker on the same local network segment to cause a denial of service. By sending a specially crafted IPv4/UDP DHCP reply, the attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to the `iscsiuio` process crashing. This issue affects systems where `iscsiuio` is actively handling IPv4 DHCP traffic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18727 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi's iscsiuio component. This vulnerability involves an integer underflow and out-of-bounds read during Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6) packet parsing. Specifically, crafted DHCPv6 Advertise traffic with a short User Datagram Protocol (UDP) length can cause the DHCPv6 payload length to underflow. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network segment can exploit this by sending specially crafted IPv6 UDP traffic while the client is in an active DHCPv6 exchange, leading to a denial of service due to a process crash or service disruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18726 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Open Iscsi | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker on the same local network segment to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) in the iscsiuio daemon. By sending a specially crafted Internet Control Message Protocol version 6 (ICMPv6) Router Advertisement with a zero-length option, the attacker can trigger an infinite loop. This leads to sustained CPU usage, rendering the daemon unresponsive and impacting system availability. A secondary risk of out-of-bounds reads exists with a short IPv6 payload, though no memory corruption or data exposure has been confirmed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18663 | 1 Redhat | 3 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. The get_ldapmessage_controls_ext() function frees the parsed controls array on the Session Tracking critical-control rejection path without clearing the SLAPI_REQCONTROLS pblock slot. Operation teardown then frees the same pointer again, causing a double-free. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger this with a single BIND request carrying a critical Session Tracking control, resulting in heap corruption and potential denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18651 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, 389 Directory Server, Directory Server and 3 more | 2026-11-05 | 5.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. During SASL PLAIN authentication, the server installs connection-level bind credentials before performing the account-lock check. If the account is subsequently found to be locked, the bind is reported as failed to the client, but the already-installed authenticated state on the connection is not reverted. A client that supplies valid credentials for an account that has been administratively locked can continue to use the same connection with that account's privileges, defeating account lock as an access-revocation control. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18508 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 9 Tar, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2026-11-05 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GNU tar. When extracting an archive with the --one-top-level option, hardlink targets are not confined to the designated top-level directory and may resolve relative to the extraction working directory. A crafted archive can create hardlinks that escape the intended boundary and, when combined with a preexisting symbolic link under the working directory, may allow writing outside that boundary during a single extraction. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18495 | 1 Redhat | 4 Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 1 more | 2026-11-05 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libtiff. A heap-buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the `tiff2pdf` utility due to an integer truncation error when processing crafted BigTIFF files. An attacker can provide a specially crafted BigTIFF file, causing a 64-bit `StripByteCounts` value to be truncated to a 32-bit integer. This leads to an undersized memory allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds memory copy, resulting in a crash and severe memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18477 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 9 Tar, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2026-11-05 | 4.4 Medium |
| A TOCTOU (Time-of-Check Time-of-Use) vulnerability in GNU tar's incremental dumpdir 'X' rename handling allows a local attacker with write access to a directory being backed up to influence the restore process if the attacker has access to the system where the restore is being performed. During restoration, files or directories may be created, renamed or overwritten outside the intended extraction directory. This could lead to unauthorized file modification or, in some cases, privilege escalation. Exploitation does not require the attacker to modify or craft the archive, and standard backup and restore workflows—including extracting into a newly created directory without using the -P option do not mitigate the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-116786 | 2026-11-05 | 8.8 High | ||
| FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to 1.11.2, sofia_handle_sip_i_refer() placed raw Refer-To URI parameters and headers inside a sip_invite_params channel-variable block passed to switch_ivr_originate(). The originate parser treated a comma in the attacker-controlled value as a variable separator, allowing an authenticated caller on a bridged call to inject arbitrary variables into a newly originated leg. An injected execute_on_originate value could invoke the system dialplan application before answer and execute operating-system commands with the FreeSWITCH process privileges. SIP REFER is enabled by default, and the sender needs only a registered account and a call that takes the off-box transfer path, not administrative or Event Socket access. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18369 | 1 Redhat | 4 Certificate System, Certificate System Eus, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-05 | 5.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI's ACME responder where the HTTP-01 challenge validator accepts IP address literals as dns identifiers and follows HTTP redirects without validating that the target is a public address. An unauthenticated ACME account holder can exploit this to perform server-side request forgery (SSRF), making the Dogtag server send HTTP GET requests to internal network services. With the InMemory database backend, the response body of internal targets is disclosed to the attacker through the ACME challenge error. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18358 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus | 2026-11-05 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in gnome-remote-desktop as shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. When the daemon is running in system mode with RDP enabled, the incoming connection handler bypasses the connection throttler, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to open many parallel pre-authentication connections to the RDP listener. This can accumulate accepted sockets and pending routing-token operations until timeout, exhausting resources and preventing legitimate users from establishing RDP sessions. This issue does not affect the upstream version. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18107 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-11-05 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in CRIU's handling of restartable sequences (rseq) during checkpoint/restore. A malicious process inside a container can register an rseq critical section that hijacks CRIU's parasite code injection during checkpoint, allowing it to spoof the process credentials saved in the checkpoint image. On restore, the container process gains elevated capabilities and zeroed UIDs/GIDs. The practical impact on Red Hat products is limited by several factors: checkpoint/restore requires root privileges (podman) or cluster-admin RBAC (OpenShift) to trigger and cannot be initiated from within the container itself; on OpenShift prior to 4.17 the feature required explicit opt-in, and on 4.17+ the kubelet checkpoint API RBAC is not configured by default; OpenShift enforces user namespaces by default for regular workloads (hostUsers is gated behind admin-only SCCs), which makes the spoofed capabilities namespace-scoped and ineffective for privilege escalation; SELinux type enforcement (container_t) blocks privilege transitions independently of capabilities; seccomp filters persist through checkpoint/restore and cannot be corrupted via the parasite; and kernel mount namespace ownership checks on RHEL 9/10 kernels prevent mount-based container escape even with spoofed capabilities. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18047 | 1 Redhat | 3 Certificate System, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI's ACME responder where the web.xml security constraints use exact URL pattern matching for admin-only enable/disable endpoints. By appending a trailing slash to the URL, an unauthenticated attacker can bypass the Tomcat authentication constraint while RESTEasy still routes the request to the handler, allowing unauthorized toggling of the ACME service state including persistent denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16768 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in gdk-pixbuf. When parsing a specially crafted ICO file with pixel values that exceed the defined palette range, an out-of-bounds read can occur due to improper bounds checking against the actual palette size. This vulnerability causes heap bytes to be interpreted as valid palette indices and rendered as RGB pixel values in the output image, allowing an attacker to extract heap content via the generated output, such as a thumbnail. | ||||
